Maitri Changes
Rosa Mojdehi and Jennie Lowell, MD are performing daVinci robotic assisted surgeries at Fletcher Allen Health Care for patients who need this advanced technology to assist in their care. The daVinci offers women minimally invasive surgery even if they have need for complicated procedures. Women have shorter recovery times and smaller incisions compared to women who undergo more traditional routes of surgery.
For women who don’t need the daVinci technology, the other physicians in the practice will continue to offer minimally invasive laparoscopic hysterectomies, ovarian cystectomies, hysteroscopy, TVT placement for genuine stress incontinence, and a variety of other outpatient surgeries. In addition, we continue to offer full obstetric care and well woman office care, including ultrasounds, colposcopies, and office procedures.
Maitri Health Care for Women is now offering intrauterine insemination (IUI) as part of infertility services available through our practice.
