Maitri Health Care for Women
is a group of female health care providers united in 2003 to create a comprehensive, compassionate health practice for women of all ages. Maitri Health Care for Women is the premier OBGYN practice in Chittenden County, delivering over 500 babies per year, and providing state of the art gynecological care for women. We practice medicine, and follow nationally accepted guidelines for care of women. But we do it with a little more.

We are uniquely committed to providing individualized care. We seek to know our patients well, and to help them achieve their personal health goals, whether this is a healthy baby, a strong personal discipline to age with grace and strength, or successful healing from surgical treatment of a gynecological problem.

Integrative and Holistic
At our center we work with practioners of many different disciplines including Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, Chiropractic, Massage, Physical Therapy, Hypotherapy, Yoga and Movement to help individuals and families thrive. Integrative Medicine means Western medicine in combination with other disciplines. It means an approach to your health which views your health in the context of your life.

Our center
Eastern View Integrative Medicine opened in July 2008. This building received LEED Silver for Core and Shell from the U.S. Green Building Council for its environmentally conscious design.
